Librarians teaching each other.

An overview of the general concept of teachmeet is best give by Doug Hall

Doug Hall explains all about TeachMeet from mrhandley on Vimeo

We’re tweeking for librarians – and this can cover personal CPD, ie the stuff we can share with each other about useful web 2.0 tools, or other things (techie or otherwise) which help us provide a better service, as well as more user-oriented teaching (eg library introductions, or information skills training, etc)

The wiki

Part of the larger TeachMeet wiki, our contribution is located at http://teachmeet.pbworks.com/Cambridge-Librarian-TeachMeet

Sign up to attend, contribute 7 minutes or 2 minutes – we’re full! If it all goes well we will hopefully do it all again in the new year – watch this space.
